The FX-300 has the ability to interconnect a VOIP ATA (Cisco ATA 186, Grandstream ATA 286, Sipura SPA-2000, Motorola ATA, Packet8 DTA 310, etc) with an analog line in your home or office to enable the use of your VOIP service from your mobile phone. Thus, through your analog line you can now have both make VOIP calls from your mobile phone and have your VOIP calls forwarded to your mobile when you are out of the home or office.

The Sipcpe FX-300 Analog Call Director is the replacement model for the FX300-GSM and the FX200 Models. There are substancial differences and improvements in the New FX-300 Analog Call Director over the FX-200. The FX-300 has been upgraded to perform similarly to the FX-300 GSM Call Director. So yes it is now similar to the FX-300 GSM Call Director in both name and functions. Both FX-300 products are 99% the same in features and functions with only one important difference. One interfaces/bridges your voip box with an Analog line while the other interfaces/bridges your voip box to a GSM (cellular) line. Each can function as both a switch and a bridge and have the new features functions listed below.

The FX-300 Analog Call Director is shipped without a Power Adaptor, it uses the Power from your existing ATA. For example, if you have a Cisco ATA 186, Grandstream ATA 286, Sipura SPA-2000, Motorola ATA, Packet8 DTA 310, you may also use your ATA/Gateway?s AC-DC Power Adaptor for both devices. To do so plug the ATA/Gateway?s Power Adaptor into the IN jack of FX-300. Then connect the FX-300 OUT jack to your ATA/Gateway?s DC in jack with the provided six inch Black & White Power Wire. Generally, the white end plugs into the FX-300 and the black end plugs into the ATA/Gateway. After powered on, both LEDs L1 and L2 on the front of the FX-300 will be solid red.
As an Analog Bridge the FX-300 Analog Call Director interconnects your voip customer premise equipment with a landline (analog) line in your home or office to enable the use of your voip service from your mobile phone. Thus, through your landline, you can now both make voip calls from your cell phone and have your voip calls forwarded to your cell phone when you are out of the home or office.
