The SOYO G668 telephone is an advanced IP device that plugs directly into your broadband DSL connection or cable modem for instant VoIP capability. No computer is necessary. The SOYO G668 fully supports DHCP, PPPoE and static IP protocols, and incorporates the latest audio compression technology (CODEC G.711, G.723, G.729, etc.) to transmit data packets using minimal bandwidth to eliminate interference with other data signals.
Additional features include advanced QoS (Quality of Service) technologies such as CODEC negotiation, enhanced jittering technology, jittering technology, lost packet reconstruction, echo cancellation and packet delay recovery to provide reliable, high-quality voice communications over the IP network.
